Diet modification will also be helpful. You should have more organic vegetables and fruit. Avoid sugar, alcohol, salt, high protein foods and those with high amounts of oxalic acid. Examples of food to avoid are Cranbury, Spinach, Tomatoes, Spinach, fast food products, sugar substitutes, and refined products. Barely grass and wheat will be beneficial as these contain vitamins and minerals which has anti-inflammatory properties. Flaxseed, borage, or prime oil should also be increased in your consumption as these also have anti-inflammatory agents. Massage therapy that relaxes the muscles which support your torso is needed. Because of the inflammation caused by the Spondylitis, your muscles would be strained trying to compensate for your difficulties to move or to support your body. Exercises such as yoga are also beneficial. Certain yoga techniques will help relax your muscles. This of course will reduce the pain and inflammation that you are suffering from. Breathing exercises are recommended. Ankylosing Spondylitis may affect one’s lung capacity and limit his or her breathing. You must therefore learn several techniques that will maximize your lungs capacity and improve your breathing. Learn how to use heat and cold properly. Heat can be used to get relief from pain while cold compress will decrease inflammation. You see, there are several ways that you can do to deal with Ankylosing Spondylitis. The best part of these is that most of it could be done on the comforts of your home, and by yourself. You just have to learn how to execute these complementary treatments so that the disorder won’t control your life.

Cervical Spondylosis causes and Symptoms and Natural Home Remedy Treatment for Cervical Spondylosis
Cervical spondylosis is a disorder caused by abnormal wear on the cartilage and bones of the neck with degeneration and mineral deposits in the cushions between the vertebrae. The bones of the neck are called cervical vertebrae. The cushions between the vertebrae are called cervical disks.
The abnormal wear on the cartilage and bones of the neck can gradually compress one or more of the nerve roots. When nerve roots are compressed, pain in the neck and arm, weakness, and changes in sensation will occur. In advanced cases of cervical spondylosis, the spinal cord maybe become compressed. If the spinal cord becomes compressed, the pain, weakness and changes in sensation will also occur in the legs.

What Causes Cervical Spondylosis?
Cervical spondylosis is caused by chronic degeneration of the cervical spine, the cushions between the neck vertebrae, and joints between the bones of the cervical spine. A previous neck injury can predispose to a person to cervical spondylosis.
What are the Symptoms of Cervical Spondylosis?
The most common symptoms of cervical spondylosis are:
1. Neck pain (may radiate to the arms or shoulder)
2. Loss of sensation or abnormal sensations of the shoulders, arms
3. Weakness of the arms
4. Neck stiffness that progressively worsens
5. Loss of balance
6. Headaches
7. Loss of control of the bladder or bowels
Treatment of Cervical Spondylosis
1. People with sedentary occupation should change positions often, stand up every hour, avoid soft cushioned seats, use thin pillows or avoid it, and sleep on firm mattresses with knees bent at right angles to the torso.
2. Perform joint movements moving wrists up and down, folding and unfolding fingers, rotating wrists clockwise and anticlockwise, moving neck up and down, moving to the sides and rotating it clockwise and anticlockwise.
3. The patient should have 4 meals a day consisting of milk, salad of raw vegetables, steamed vegetables, whole-wheat bread and sprouts. Adequate amounts of proteins, vitamin C, Vitamin D, calcium and phosphorus are also essential. Avoid sour curd, sugar, spicy, fried and fatty foods, tea and coffee, refined and processed food and tobacco and smoking.
4. 2-3 cloves of garlic should be taken in the morning. Oil prepared by frying 10 cloves of garlic in 60gms of oil, cooled and then applied vigorously in affected part left for 3 hours and then take a warm bath. This should be followed for 15 days.
5. Lemon juice mixed with salt should be taken 2-3 times daily and chebulic myrobalan after meals gives quick relief.
6. Yoga or hot fomentation for 5-10 minutes twice a day or mild oil massage to neck, shoulders and hands are beneficial.
